What it is
- A Nichiren-shu temple, founded about 1000 years ago.
- Originally founded by Kenyu Hoshi of Shingon-shu.
- Converted to Hokke-shu in 1470 with Sakai Sadataka's help.
- Stands on the former site of Tonoyatsu Castle.

- A sacred ginkgo tree coexisting with another tree type.
- The current main hall, rebuilt in 1711.
