Obata Shrine is a historic Geku sessha dedicated to bountiful harvests, rebuilt every 20 years.

- Dedicated to Ukanomitama-no-kami, guardian of harvests.
- Re-established at this site in 1663.
- One of 16 Geku sessha, created before 927 AD.
