Ojoin Temple: a historic Buddhist site in Nagano with unique statues and earthquake-resistant architecture.
What it is
- Jodo sect Buddhist temple, founded in 1248.
- Dedicated to a statue of Enko Daishi (Honen).
- One of the seven temples of Zenkoji Shichimeisho.
- Served as a temporary hall for the Zenkoji Nyorai.
