What it is

  • A Shingon-shu Buzan-ha temple.
  • Founded between 782 and 806 by Tokuitsu.
  • The 25th temple of the Bandō Sanjūsankannon pilgrimage.
  • Re-established in 1930 after being abolished in 1871.

  • The principal image is the Eleven-faced Senju Kannon Bosatsu.
  • A new main hall was completed in February 2020.
