Omi Shrine is an ancient Shinto shrine with a rich history and several relocated shrines.
What it is
- Ancient Shinto shrine in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.
- Founded during the reign of Emperor Sujin.
- Enshrines Omishiruhito-no-mikoto, Kaizumi-no-mikoto, and Nashitomi-no-mikoto.
- Identified as Omi Jinja in the Engishiki Jinmyocho.
