Ōmushi Shrine is an ancient site with important cultural properties and a summer festival.
What it is
- Ancient shrine first mentioned in 780.
- Dedicated to Amatsuhidakahikohonohohodemi no Mikoto.
- Rebuilt by Toyotomi Hideyoshi after 1576 fire.

- Two seated male deity statues are Important Cultural Properties.
- Miyabashi, a stone arch bridge, is a Registered Cultural Property.
- Okusha (inner shrine) on Mt. Onigatake summit.
- Ishigami no Yusui spring water on the grounds.
