御嶽神社
Ontake Shrine is a historic Tokyo shrine dedicated to multiple deities, easily accessible by train.
What it is
- A shrine in Nerima-ku, Tokyo, also known as Shimoshakujii Ontake Shrine.
- Founded between 1804 and 1831.
- Dedicated to Kunitokotachi-no-mikoto, Onamuchi-no-mikoto, and Sukuna-bikona-no-mikoto.
What to see
- The main shrine, rebuilt in 1889.
- The worship hall, rebuilt between 1920 and 1923.
