Ancient shrine dedicated to working women, with a burial mound and a connection to Fushimi Inari.
What it is
- Founded in 711 AD.
- Dedicated to Ukanomitama-no-kami, Ukemochi-no-kami, and Wakumusubi-no-kami.
- Considered an inner shrine of Fushimi Inari Taisha.
- Known as a guardian deity for working women.

- Emperor Komei dedicated 'Chomeibashi' to the shrine.
- The Inarizuka Kofun, a circular burial mound.
- Asahi Shrine, founded in 1740, is east of the main shrine.
