Owada Shrine
大和田神社
Owada Shrine is a historic site in Nagano, rebuilt after fires, with a large Kaguraden.
What it is
- A shrine in Matsukawa Village, Nagano Prefecture.
- Oldest record of the shrine is from 1580.
- An inner shrine was established on Mount Amabiki in 1926.
What to see
- The main hall, rebuilt in September 1975.
- The Kaguraden, a large two-story building.
- The Kaguraden was built in 1865.
When to go
- Annual festival is on September 22nd and 23rd.
