Owari Sarutahiko Shrine

What it is

• A religious site dedicated to the primary deity Sarutahiko Okami and Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto.
• The original shrines were established in 1608 and moved to the current site in 1985.
• An independent shrine that issues its own priesthood certification and is not affiliated with Jinja Honcho.
• A dedicated place for worshippers to pay respects to the Ise Grand Shrine.

• A torii gate that was originally located at the Ise Grand Shrine.
• The main hall which was relocated to this site in the mid-1980s.
