What it is

  • A 527.9 meter mountain bordering Sakuragawa and Ishioka in the Tsukuba Mountain Range
  • Named for the abundance of mushrooms historically found throughout the area
  • Part of the Kanto Fureai no Michi long-distance hiking course
  • Home to Denshoji Temple, the family temple of daimyo Asano Nagamasa

  • Hang gliding and paragliding takeoff sites located along the mountain ridge
