Korenji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with ties to a famous painter monk.
What it is
- A Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded by Shōzen, grandson of Takeda Nobushige.
- Birthplace of painter monk Unshitsu Shōnin in 1753.
