What it is

  • Founded in 1455 by Ashikaga Shigeuji.
  • Dedicated to the deity Hachiman-jin (Homudawake-no-mikoto).
  • Also known as Suwa Hachiman Shrine.
  • Part of the Koga Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage.
