Sōrin-in Temple

Sōrin-in Temple is a Tendai sub-temple with unique deities and a rich history.
What it is
- A Tendai sect temple, founded in 1665 by Kōkai.
- A sub-temple of Bishamon-do Monzeki.
- Main deity is Daishō Kangi-ten, also known as Yamashina Shōten.
What to see
- The Shōten-dō, built in 1868.
- The Fudō-dō, enshrining Fudō Myō-ō.
- The Amida-dō, enshrining Amida Nyorai.
When to go
- Monthly visits are held on the 1st and 16th.
