Kōnin-ji Temple
弘仁寺
Ancient temple founded by Kūkai, known for its cultural properties and unique Jusan-mairi ceremony.

- Founded in 815 by Emperor Saga's imperial wish.
- Kūkai established it where a star fell in 807.
