Hōkō-ji Temple is an ancient Tendai temple with unique cultural properties.
What it is
- Tendai sect temple, mountain name Kōmyōzan.
- Founded in 863 by Ozuki Imaō.
- Ancestral temple of the Ozuki clan.
- Principal image is Yakushi Nyorai.
