What it is
- Head temple of the Jishu sect, also called Yugyō-ji Temple.
- Founded in 1325 by Matano Goro Kagehira.
- Recognized as head of 274 Jishu temples in 1631.

- A 12-scroll painting of Ippen Shōnin, a National Treasure.
- Several Important Cultural Properties.
- A large ginkgo tree, estimated to be 600 years old.
- The main hall, rebuilt in 1937.
