Anfuku-ji Temple (Tsukuba)

What it is

• A Shingon Buzan sect temple founded during the mid-Kamakura period
• A site dedicated to Yakuyoke Daishi worship for warding off evil
• The temple was restored in 1469 and rebuilt after a fire in the early 1700s
• The current Daishido hall was constructed in 1956
