Suwa Shrine (Katase, Fujisawa City)

What it is

• A Shinto shrine in Fujisawa City, also called Katase Suwa Shrine.
• Founded in 723, it is the oldest transfer from Suwa Grand Shrine.
• Dedicated to deities Takeminakata-no-mikoto and Yasakatome-no-mikoto.
• Celebrated its 1300th anniversary in 2023.
