Suwa Shrine, founded in 723, is a historic site dedicated to two deities.
What it is
- A Shinto shrine in Fujisawa City, also called Katase Suwa Shrine.
- Founded in 723, it is the oldest transfer from Suwa Grand Shrine.
- Dedicated to deities Takeminakata-no-mikoto and Yasakatome-no-mikoto.
- Celebrated its 1300th anniversary in 2023.
