Ryūon-ji Temple is a historic Sōtō Zen temple with important graves and unique plants.

  • A Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple.
  • Known as Chōshōzan, its mountain name.
  • Rebuilt in 1430 by Ashikaga Yoshinori and Uesugi Mochitomo.
  • Restored in 1472 by Ōta Dōkan and Dōshin.
