Ryūon-ji Temple

Ryūon-ji Temple is a historic Sōtō Zen temple with important graves and unique plants.
What it is
- A Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple.
- Known as Chōshōzan, its mountain name.
- Rebuilt in 1430 by Ashikaga Yoshinori and Uesugi Mochitomo.
- Restored in 1472 by Ōta Dōkan and Dōshin.
