Ōji Shrine is a historic shrine with ancient trees and statues, worth visiting for its tranquil beauty.
What it is
- A shrine also known as Ōji Gongen or Wakaichi Ōji-sha.
- Dedicated to Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Hayatamao-no-Mikoto.
- Established between 1592 and 1614.

- A 300-year-old fir tree, 30 meters tall.
- Edo period Komainu statues from 1853.
- The Chōju Inari-sha building, rebuilt in 1925.
