What it is
- An island in Tomie Town that became completely uninhabited in July 2022
- A former settlement that once housed one hundred and ninety people in 1960
- The site where Uku Kakoi died in the year 1507

- Approximately forty houses remaining from the original island settlement
- Kamo Shrine which enshrines the deity Wakeikazuchi no Mikoto

Getting there
- Located seven kilometers east of Tomie Port
- Access requires hiring a private sea taxi from Fukue Island
- There are no scheduled ferry services currently operating to the island
