  • A Shingon sect temple, sub-temple of Sennyū-ji Temple.
  • Founded in 806 by Kūkai.
  • Rebuilt in 1574 with aid from Oda Nobunaga.
  • Ōishi Yoshio used the temple for secret meetings.
