Raikō-in Temple

Raikō-in Temple is a historic site with a significant Fudo Myoo statue, easily accessible by train.
What it is
- A Shingon-shu Buzan-ha temple.
- Founded in 1192 by Tamura Hidetoki.
- Rebuilt and renamed in 1577 by Yukyu.

- The principal image is Fudo Myoo.
- Fudo Myoo attributed to Unkei.
- Fudo Myoo was guardian of the Oshu Fujiwara clan.
