What it is

  • Jodo-shu Seizan Zenrin-ji sect temple.
  • Also known as Higaki-dera and Sentai Jizo-ji.
  • History began around 984-986 with poet Higaki.
  • 16th sacred site of Higo Province 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
