Renge-ji Temple: a historic Tokyo temple, final resting place of a famous haiku poet.
What it is
- A temple of the Kenpon Hokke sect.
- Founded by Nichiken during the Genna era (1615-1624).
- Originally located in Edo-shitaya.
- Moved to its current location in 1909.
