Rinjū-ji Temple
林柔寺
Rinjū-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo Shinshū temple, home to a shogun's concubine's memorial.
What it is
- A temple of the Jōdo Shinshū Takada sect.
- Founded by Zenchō in 1630.
- Moved to its current site in 1928.
- Originally located in Edo, moved after fires and earthquakes.

- Gekkōin was a concubine of Tokugawa Ienobu.
- Tokugawa Ienobu was the 6th Edo shogun.
