Rinsho-ji is a Rinzai Buddhist temple with historic halls and unique monuments.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1490 by Tōyō Eichō.
- Revived in 1704 by Daiharu.
What to see
- The current main hall, rebuilt in 1861.
- Kannon-do Hall, built in 1848.
- Kannon-do Hall displays 36 haiku poems.
- Sankai Banrei-tō, made in 1732.
- Saikoku Reijo Junrei-hi, a Kannon statue from 1749.
