What it is

  • A Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple.
  • Main deity is a statue of Yakushi Nyorai.
  • Became a branch temple of Entsū-ji in late Muromachi period.
  • Pilgrimage site for the Year of the Dragon since 1955.
