Ryugezan Zinzō-ji Temple

What it is

• A Soto Zen temple founded around 1501 by Shibata Katsushige.
• A direct branch temple of the famous Daihonzan Eihei-ji.
• The temple enshrines Sho-kanzeon Bosatsu as its main deity.
• Part of the Tokai 49 Yakushi Pilgrimage circuit.

What to see

• The Yakushi-do hall which was moved to this site in 1735.
