Ryūhō-ji Temple
龍宝寺
Ryūhō-ji Temple, or Koi-dera, is a historic Jōdo-shū temple with a unique carp mound.
What it is
- Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1590 by Zenbōsha Hon'yo Shōnin Zeō.
- Zeō was a close aide to Tokugawa Ieyasu.
- Also known as Koi-dera.

- A carp mound from 1853.
