What it is

  • A Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
  • Presumed to have existed during the Sengoku period.
  • Restored in 1557 by Yūe.
  • Prospered due to its association with Benzaiten.

  • The former upper shrine of Tamagawa Benzaiten.
