Ryūsen-ji Temple
竜泉寺

What it is
- A Tendai Buddhist temple founded by Rensetsu Hoin between 823 and 833.
- Commonly known as the Ryugasaki Kannon, dedicated to a Sho-kanzeon Bosatsu statue.
- Renowned as a site for visitors to offer prayers regarding safe childbirth.
- The current main hall was rebuilt in 1975 after a fire in the Meiji period.
