Saifuku-ji Temple is a historic Shingon Buddhist temple with unique Koshin-to towers, a short walk from Higashi-Iwatsuki Station.

What it is

  • A temple of the Shingon-shu Chizan-ha sect.
  • Founded by Ryoshun in the early Edo period.
  • Was a branch temple of Myojo-in Temple.
  • Served as a betto-ji for Minamihirano Inari Shrine.
