What it is

  • It is a Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
  • It was founded in 1470 by Genchu.
  • It was a betto-ji of the nearby Yakumo Shrine.

  • Jujo Seikannon-do is an outside temple building.
  • It enshrines a Kannon Bosatsu statue.
  • The statue was created by Yamashita Kakudo.

  • Local residents hold a Kannon-ko on the 12th of each month.
