What it is

  • A keyhole-shaped tumulus, built in the late 4th century.
  • Designated as the mausoleum of Empress Shotoku.

  • A large keyhole-shaped tumulus, 127 meters long.
  • The mound has three tiers.
  • Posterior circular part has a diameter of 84 meters.
