What it is

  • An ancient Shikinaisha shrine, founded in 804 AD.
  • Also known as Akaishi Shrine and Ukishima Myojin.
  • Enshrines Futsunushi-no-kami and Takemikazuchi-no-kami.
  • It is the northernmost Shikinaisha shrine.
