Shijūkusho Shrine

Ancient Shinto shrine in Kagoshima, known for its Yabusame festival and clan history.
What it is
- Founded in 984 by Tomo Kaneyuki.
- Enshrines Amaterasu Sumera Okami and Toyouke Hime Okami.
- Served as guardian deity of the Kimotsuki clan.
- Name refers to the total number of enshrined deities.

- The main hall, rebuilt in May 2021.

- Koyama Yabusame Dedication Festival: third Sunday of October.
