  • A keyhole-shaped tumulus, also known as Shimaneyama Kofun.
  • Part of the northern group of the Umami Kofun Cluster.
  • Designated as a National Historic Site.
  • Forms the Miyake Kofun Cluster with surrounding tumuli.

What to see

  • The tumulus has a total length of 265 meters with its moat.
  • Observe the shield-shaped moat surrounding the kofun.
