What it is
- Part of the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture within the town of Taketomi.
- A former residential settlement now used entirely as a beef cattle ranch.
- Included within the boundaries of the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park.
- Also known as Panari Island, located seven kilometers southeast of Iriomote Island.
