Shinpuku-ji Temple

Shinpuku-ji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with important statues and a founder's grave.
What it is
- A Jodo Shinshu Higashi Honganji-ha temple.
- Founded by Yuki Hirotsuna in the Kamakura period.
- Moved to Edo in the early Edo period.
- Its founding priest was Yuki, Hirotsuna's younger brother.
What to see
- Main image is an Amida Nyorai statue.
- Other treasures include a Shotoku Taishi statue.
- The founder Yuki is buried here.
