What it is

  • A Jodo Shinshu Higashi Honganji-ha temple.
  • Founded by Yuki Hirotsuna in the Kamakura period.
  • Moved to Edo in the early Edo period.
  • Its founding priest was Yuki, Hirotsuna's younger brother.

  • Main image is an Amida Nyorai statue.
  • Other treasures include a Shotoku Taishi statue.
