Shiogama Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine in Yaita, dedicated to several deities.
What it is
- A Shinto shrine in Yaita City, Tochigi Prefecture.
- Main deities are Shiotsuchi-no-oji-no-mikoto, Takemikazuchi-no-mikoto, Futsunushi-no-mikoto.
- Relocated to its current site in September 1580.
- Became one of Yaita's representative shrines.
