Shirayama Hime Shrine is an ancient shrine dedicated to important deities, rebuilt after destruction.
What it is
- Ancient shrine founded in 724 by Arakida Nobuashi.
- Main deities are Kukuri Hime no Kami, Izanagi, and Izanami.
- Left deity is Amenooshihomimi, right is Ōnamuchi no Ōkami.
- Renamed Shirayama Hime Shrine in 1871.

- Stone walls and steps constructed in 1716.
- 45 cypress trees transported to Kyoto in 1788.
- Shimotezuka Shishishibai, a folk cultural property.
