Shōan-ji Temple

Shōan-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple rebuilt after disasters, worth visiting for its resilience.

- Founded in 1616 by En'yo Mansetsu Shōnin.
- Rebuilt after a 1698 fire with Keishōin's donation.
- Moved to its current location after the 1923 earthquake.
