Shōden-an Temple
昌傳庵
Shōden-an Temple is a historic Zen temple with ties to the Date clan.
What it is
- A Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1506 by Date Naomune.
- Kizan Kōetsu was the founding priest.
- One of four chief Sōtō Zen temples of the Sendai Domain.
