Shōgan-ji Temple is a historic Buddhist temple with a long past and unique artifacts.
What it is
- A Buddhist temple of the Shingi Shingon sect.
- Dedicated to the deity Fudō Myōō.
- Founded by Ryōchū during the Bun'ei era (1264-1274).
- Received land from Tokugawa Hidetada.
