Shōgen-ji Temple

Shōgen-ji Temple is a Rinzai Buddhist temple with unique stone carvings and a modern main hall.
What it is
- A temple of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism.
- Founded in 1653 or 1656.
- Its mountain name is Tentokuzan.

- The current main hall, completed in 2006.
- A 211cm tall stone stupa carved in 1676.
- Six Jizo Bodhisattvas carved on the stupa's sides.
