Shōjō-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple with a rich past.

- Founded in 1314 or between 1394 and 1428.
- Served as a learning center for Jōdo-shū Fujita-ha.
- Protected by the Doi family, lords of Koga Castle.
