What it is

  • A Rinzai sect Myōshin-ji school temple.
  • Founded in 1630 by Chigusazawa-me.
  • Restored and renamed in 1701 by Hiraoka Emon.

  • Cemetery with the grave of Kitamura Kigin.
  • Kitamura Kigin's grave is a Tokyo historic site.
  • Cemetery also holds the grave of Hiraoka Jun.
