Shōtoku-in Temple
聖徳院
Shōtoku-in Temple is a historic Shingon Buddhist temple in Kobe, dedicated to Kobo Daishi.
What it is
- A Jun-Bekaku Honzan of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism.
- Dedicated to Kobo Daishi, with Fudo Myoo and Aizen Myoo.
- Enshrines Chigo Daishi and Shugyo Daishi.
- Rebuilt in 1613 by Shungyo Hoin.

- A stone monument, 'Jushu Shotokuin-hi,' on the grounds.
- A Shotokuin tombstone at Koyasan Okunoin, built in 1984.
